Carson Jackson '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' 1 200lb. junior (Class of 2014) who is a 3 year starter for varsity football. I played the positions of starting tail back, starting safety, punter, kick off & punt returner, place holder and receiver when needed.  I was voted All - County First Team as a sophomore as the utility player and was Offensive Back of the Year for Mel High.  Melbourne High School finished as the District 5A Runner Up for 2011 - 2012 and made it to the second round of playoffs.  This year, as a sophomore I competed in the 2012 NIKE SPARQ combine in Orlando and finished 5th out of 1,404 competitive athletes. As a freshman, I competed in the 2011 Under Armour Combine in Miami and finished in the top 2 with my 40 electronically clocked at a 4.48.  In the 2011 NIKE SPARQ combine in Orlando, I finished in the top 3 out of 900 plus athletes and in the 2011 Schuman Underclassman Combine, I won MVP and the Fastest Man award for athletes from the class of 2014.  I have been core/speed/agility training for the last 3.5 years and am currently open to all post secondary options as I am undecided about a program of study.  I have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.97 with a class rank of 9th out of 496 fellow classmates.  My goals are to keep training and developing physically but most of all to maintain my high level of studies through the honors, the advanced placement curriculum, and college dual enrollment.
