SR HIGHLIGHT VIDEO IS ON HERE ! Go to "ATHLETICS" scroll to bottom of the page and it is listed as "HUDL". Thank you !

Hello, my name is Jacob Martinez and I am a two time All State Sr football player at Deane Bozeman High School in Panama City Florida. I have a 3.58 GPA and I am a member of The National Honor Society and Scholastic Athlete award winner.

I have been honored with the following accolades my Sr year: The FACA
( Florida Athletic Coaches Association) "Panhandle Player of the Year", Dec. 2012 , Knowledgy " Area Player of the Year", Bay County Offensive "Player of the Year", 1st Team All County QB and 1st Team All District QB, 2nd Team All State QB.

January 6, 2012 it was announced by the Associated Press that I had earned a spot on the All-State football team! I am 1st Team All District ,1st Team All-County, MVP and Captian for my football team my Jr year.

I broke the Bay County rushing record for QB with 1,430 yards. I lead the state of Florida for rushing Quarterbacks. I was 12th in the nation amoung rushing Jr QB. I was #1 in rushing and #1 in scoring with 19 rushing touchdowns, #2 in total offense and #6 in passing as a QB in the state of Florida in the 1A classification ( Maxpreps). All these stats are regular season based on first ten games.

March 4, 2012, I attended the Nike Combine in Mobile Alabama. I earned a SPARQ rating of 92.76 and with that score I placed 5th amoung 1300 athletes. I am proud to be the QB representing the Mobile Alabama region on the All-Sparq combine team !

My sophomore year I attended the National Under Classman Combine and was invited to the Southeast Ultimate 100 . There I ran a 4.65 40 yard dash, 4.2 pro agility and a 32 vertical. These and other results qualified me for an invite to the NUC Top Prospect Development Camp at The University of Oklahoma but I was unable to attend due to finances.

My dream is to play in the NFL one day. My dad says it is good to have a dreams but , that I must be prepared to do the work . My first goal is to lead my high school team to a state championship. My second goal would be to play football at the college level and third I want to lead my team to an NCAA National Championship ! You must dream big to achieve big!

I have a true passion for the game of football. I enjoy every moment I am on the field. I also love working hard and preparing for the season. I work hard so I will be the greatest player I can possibly be. I know the Lord has blessed me with a great talent, and every day I try to improve it by doing the best I possibly can on and off the field.

Education is also very important to me. I try to do my best in the classroom, so that later on my life will be easier. I try to maintain a great GPA, my state GPA is a 3.47 ending my sophmore year. I earned a 3.75 the 1st semester of my Jr year.

I believe I want to major in sports management but , I am still undecided at this point. My mom and dad are divorced and money is often really tight . I should qualify for finacial aid because of my situation.

Other sports I participate in are soccer, basketball, track, and weightlifting, but football is by far my all time favorite.
