I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
If you would have asked a year ago if I knew I wanted to play college football I would have said “I do not know”. That changed on a Sunday afternoon in May of 2021 during a training session with my fellow Lineman teammates. I dislocated my kneecap doing box jumps. At that moment for the for the first time I realized how important football was to me. I wasn’t thinking about the pain, the unknown of the injury, but how I may not be able to play football anymore and that I let my team down because I was injured and would most likely not play in the spring game. For the first time I had something taken away from me that I was passionate about. I decided to never take anything for granted again and dedicated myself to get healthy for my team and family.
I am fortunate to be a part of an amazing football program that are the Nease Panthers. I could not have asked for a better group of teammates and coaches. For the last two years we finished 1-9. My coaches kept telling us to believe and trust the process. My parents told me to be a part of the change not the status quo. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. We finished the 2021 season with a 9-4 record and finished second in the region of the Florida 7A playoffs. We made the biggest turnaround in Florida high school football history. Making it to the regional final was a great accomplishment, but it has only driven me to work even harder not only for myself, but my team and community as well.
