Lacarvius Sears '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lacarvius Sears Jr. I am 16 years old. I am from a small town in Georgia, called Broxton. I attend Coffee High school were I am a Senior.  I love football. I started playing football when I was nine. I came out on the field as a inexperienced little boy. Since that day I have embraced the game in all aspects. I feel as though I am one of the best running backs and linebackers in training. I said in training because there are always ways of improving and that is my goal, to improve and be one of the best.

Reaching a goal requires a change in mindset. My mindset has always been  "There is no I in TEAM". It takes a whole team to win or lose. We want to win. I am a team player. Everything I do is for my team, not personal recognition even though my sophomore year I was named sophomore sensation. I am a self motivated leader, determined, dependable, honest and a man of great integrity. I can accept constructive criticism and use it to become better. In everything I do on and off the field, my goal is to be better than I was the day before.

With the knowledge and skills that I have acquired thus far and what I will gain in the future, it will enable me to be a great asset to the college I attend. Even though I love playing football, my first priority is my education. I am a good student all around. I am in all honors courses and dual enrolled. I am preparing for my future by taking college courses now. I maintain a 3.7 average. My Core and Weighted GPA is a 91.9. In the class rank, I'm 89 out of 442. No books, No play! I am a firm believer that knowledge is the KEY! I will be successful.

My dream is to one day play professional football. If I am blessed to be able to live out my dream that would be awesome. If not, I have plans for my future. I am an aspiring business man. I want to be very successful in life, so I have been preparing my mind and my body to stay focused on my dreams, goals and aspirations. I will do what ever it takes for me to accomplish my goals. In everything that I do I put GOD first and give 110% of myself.
