My collegiate goals include aspiring to play college football while pursuing a degree in Business. I want to be apart of a program where I can contribute on the field and grow personally. I also want to be a part of a team that pushes each other daily to be the best athlete, student, and person we can be.
Why I believe I am a good candidate is because I’m a hard worker at everything I put my name on. I show up early, stay late, work on off days, and always give 110%. My coaches would say I am very coachable, always looking for ways to improve, and excel in competitive environments. I am already successfully juggling multiple obligations including athletics, academics, volunteering weekly, and refereeing youth league baseball. As a two-sport athlete (football and wrestling) I've developed discipline, toughness, and strong time-management skills. I'm a team player focused on winning, not individual stats. That is why I have been selected by my coaches and peers to be on the leadership team for both Freshman and current Sophomore year.
I think what sets me apart is my commitment to my faith, academics, and leadership. My family and faith is the foundation of everything I do. It keeps me grounded and gives me perspective, especially when things get tough. I'm also serious about my grades. I believe that academics are just as important as athletics, and I'm determined to excel in the classroom. Being on the leadership team for both football and wrestling has taught me how to motivate others, hold them accountable, and lead by example. I try to live my life with integrity and character, both on and off the field I strive to be someone my teammates and coaches can rely on, someone who makes a positive impact on the team culture. I'm not perfect, but I'm always striving to be better as a player, as a student, as a person, and a son.
