Dalton Murphy '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dalton Murphy. I am a Senior at Briarwood Academy located in Warrenton Georgia.  During my Senior year, I started as Center and Defensive Tackle. I would play mostly the entire game since I started on both offense and defense. I was selected Offensive Lineman of the Year by my coaches during my Senior season. I was also selected as a GIAA All Region for Region 4-AA and GIAA All State Player. I was selected to play Center for the Blue Team in the GIAA All Star game this year.  But I played Center and Defensive Tackle during that game. During my Junior year, I played Left Guard, Left Tackle, and Defensive Tackle.

I would love to be able to continue playing football in college as I earn my degree. I believe if you spoke with my coaches, they would confirm that I am a dedicated player. I work hard to learn the plays, put in extra time in the weight room and at practices. I am also a Team Leader. I was selected as a Team Captain. I work to encourage and push my teammates. It was my goal this past season for our team to actually work as a team. For our team to support and build each other up.
