Aloha! I began my high school career as a freshman on a varsity football team. Coming from a small school that has had to overcome short numbers of players and no JV football, fear and lack of confidence wasn't an option. As a freshman I was challenged by going up against senior experienced players, we won the DII championship that year. When I was a sophomore I started as the varsity linebacker going up against players who were bigger than I was.
This past year (junior year) they had me play LB, DE and SS. I also played as a RB and they put me in on OL when needed so I have diverse experience on the field. Now I'm going into my senior year and I've been training hard to help my team out as much as possible. I'm learning to be a leader and a more responsive player.
With the help of my coaches and family, I know that I will be able to continue to do what I love while pursuing my education in Crises Management and Fire Science. I have dedication and a passion for football, and I see myself competing at a collegiate level. I will do what it takes to get there and receiving a scholarship utilizing my skills on the field will help take the burden of college costs off of my parents.
At the 2019 "The Opening Combine" held in Oakland CA, I was rated in the 76th percentile of athletes tested. It was my first experience at such a large scale, but it helped give me a base line of where I am at so I can work on where I want to be this year.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
