Jalen Thompson '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach!  I am Jalen B. Thompson, a 5'11, 212 lb senior linebacker from Belleville, IL.  I have just finished my last season with the Belleville East High School football team. I have a verified 4.7 second 40 yard dash (Summer 2014).  I played Mike, Will and Sam linebacker and defensive end this season.   I am a team leader and the players on the team follow my lead.  I lead by example through my work ethic and ability.  I like to be the first player down the field on special teams to make the big hit to set the tone for my team.  I can offer a team leadership, consistency, toughness, intelligence and play making ability.  My education is my #1 priority.  It's my dream to graduate college with a 4 year degree like my parents while playing the sport that I love.  I am looking for a school with a great medical program.  Right now I would like to major in Physical Therapy.  The school that I am looking for will fit my abilities and future goals.  Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I would have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the team.  I am open to all types of schools at all division levels.  I am looking for a school that will offer a chance to play big time football at a highly competitive level.  I would like to attend school in the Midwest or South regions, but I will consider other locations.  The school that gets me will get a great student-athlete, leader, teammate, player and hard worker.
