Scotty Forbes '17 Recruiting Profile

I am currently the starting varsity quarterback at Dominion High School in Sterling, VA. I broke all of Dominion's passing records my first season as a starter. I actually transferred the week before the season started and had to learn a new offense (Wing T) in 6 days.  I was able to do just that and also add in some of the spread I had run the year before. I was named the starter after the first game, where I split reps with the other quarterback (senior). My very first pass was a 40 yard touchdown to get our team on the board first.  As a team, we had a very solid season. We finished the regular season at 5-5 and ended up losing a heartbreaker 15-13 in the first round of the playoffs. The good news is that we lost most of our games by 7 points or less and that we have almost all of our players coming back next year.  We're very excited about next year and have already started our offseason workouts. We feel very confident that we can make a deep playoff run next season.

This past season, I threw for 1770 yards and 17 Td's, adding 4 rushing Td's to that as well. I feel very confident I can beat those records next year. This past summer, I was selected to the U-17 USA National Football Team. I went to the developmental games at Towson University and earned the MVP award after the game. I'm also on a travel 7v7 team that travels up and down the east coast, including the IMG Academy Regional Tournament in Florida, where we qualified for IMG's National Tournament. 

My dream is to play college football.  I work hard everyday to fulfill that dream and become the best football player and leader I can be both on and off the field.
