Personal Statement

I come from a close family, 7 children and only one brother, who loved football.  However, his love does not compare to the passion that I have for football.  My happiest day each year is the first day of practice.  My saddest day each year is the last game.  I am committed to practice and conditioning all year long.  As I approach my senior year, I know that I want to study Business in college and Agriculture and or Sustainability.  In addition, I want to play football.  As a Running Back and a Linebacker, I get to see a lot of play.   I am a leader, not only in statistics, but as a team member.  Guiding my team mates and learning with them is a great feeling.  The brotherhood that is a part of a team cannot be understood by those who do not play.  I bring not only a commitment to players and coaches but a dedication to them.  I am fast and a thinker.  I can tell how an opponent is going to play or respond by his body or his eyes.  I am aggressive on the field but calm off.  I can be loud to help motivate but peaceful off of the field as well.   I know that I want to be a part of a team that loves the sport like I do.
