  • I started training in 8th grade with Coach Starks. With the lengthy drive, it has been difficult to make time to drive to his facility. Coach Starks set up an app for me to use at home, because of the difficulty to make it frequently. Junior year has allowed a flexible schedule and time in the mornings to train in the mornings with Starks and his team. Coach Starks helps increase power and speed while also focusing on technique and getting out the most of every athlete.

Academic Accomplishments

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. Algebra 1 - In 8th grade, I was honored to be a select few chosen to participate in a high school course of Algebra 1. Biology - In a class full of sophomores, I was one of few to be asked and take the Biology Honors class as a Freshman. English 1 - Yielded one of the highest grades in an all-freshman honors English 1 class. Geometry - Due to the early course of Algebra 1 in middle school, I was a step ahead and could take the Honors Geometry class as a Freshman. Algebra 2 - Sophomore year, I finished Honors Algebra 2 with one of the highest grades in the class and became a class tutor. Many did not understand what the lessons were or how our teacher explained them, so I would take time to explain and help them during my free time. Chemistry - Honors Chemistry was another class I had to help my classmates with their work on such things like, the periodic table, balancing equations, and other class material. English 2 - Honors English 2 increased my ability to
Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. AP Government - I took AP Government Sophmore year and it was my first AP class taken as a high schooler, as it was for many others. I was a leader in this class for those around me because of my quick learning and ability to speak in front of others. Was a key part in class discussion and always did well on the tests and quizzes. I received a 3 on the AP exam. AP Language - After taking mostly honors classes throughout the early years of high school, I packed junior year with AP and dual credit classes. AP Language has been difficult but I have pushed through and finished the first semester with a 93 and am looking to ace the AP exam looming in the second semester. Math 150: College Algebra - I completed my first dual credit class with a 95 in Math 150. History 109: US History - I have not started History 109 yet, it is a class I will be completing in the second semester of Junior year.
