Andrew Ferguson '26 Recruiting Profile

I have loved the sound of football pads colliding together since 3^rd grade. This is when my football journey began. My favorite part of football is being on the field with my classmates working toward a common goal. In addition to football, I participate in varsity wrestling and track. I enjoy the mix between individual and team sports.

I am constantly working to get stronger and faster. This goal is supported by the fact my mom is an exercise physiologist! I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. I was able to win the Kentucky State Middle School shot put championship in my first year participating in the sport. I finished 4^th in discus at the same event. This personifies my ability to be “coached”.

As a 7^th grader I achieved a 21 on my ACT and scored 28 on practice ACT tests this year. I am a 4.0 student taking honors classes. I am active in my youth group and love working to help my community.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am currently interested in majoring in engineering, but keep my options open for most math and science fields.
