Jake Queeney '21 Recruiting Profile

My agility and speed has allowed me to successfully play wide receiver, cornerback and return punts and kick offs throughout High School and for Pop Warner. I am a leader on and off the field and my mental toughness allows me to accept criticism and bounce back from adversity. I am dedicated to achieving the goals that I have for myself including my fitness level. As soon as school was cancelled back in March, I built a gym in my garage where I work out on on a daily basis. I focus on cardio and flexibility by running football drills and also leverage my full size basketball court in my backyard to stay fit. I eat healthy and focus on getting the protein needed for my muscles.

I am known by all of my coaches (football, basketball, baseball) as a coachable athlete with a desire to win. A quote from one of my coaches includes; “Jake is extremely gifted with athleticism and has a winning mentality. You can’t teach it.” Additional recognition from sports writer Ryan Lanigan; “Jake Queeney just made a ridiculous leaping catch over a defender to convert a 3^rd and 21 for Stoughton. One of the better catches I’ve seen in a while.”

I have a positive attitude and am known as a "rule follower". I can be trusted to give my all from the time I step on the field until the final whistle. Appreciate your attention and am eager to discuss any opportunities you may have for a dedicated, smart and coachable athlete.
