Michael Nazzaro '20 Recruiting Profile

Losing 4 students at my high school, 2 being close friends in a car crash on May 19, 2018 was a very hard and awful tragedy that I had to endure. It has been a hard few months for me and I miss them everyday but I made this tragedy into my motivation. Nick and David always motivated me to do my best and wanted to see me succeed so I am set out to achieve my goal of playing college baseball.

I started my high school career at Archbishop Williams High school freshman year but it wasn't a fit for me so sophomore year I attended the high school in my home town. Stoughton has been amazing and I surely made the right choice. Baseball has been good as well with the team going 10-8 and making it to the D2 MIAA Playoffs but losing in heartbreaking fashion in the first round 3-2. The year overall I underachieved but it was a tremendous experience and my teammates really helped me elevate my game. Later that year the GBG Hawks season was great and in 2018 we were ranked 75th in the country by Perfect Game. I felt like a leader of that team and I cannot wait to playing again on both teams this upcoming season!
