Thomas Unger '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 6 years old. My first year playing quarterback was the next year when I was 7. I fell in love with the game immediately. I have played many other positions throughout the years, including running back, wide receiver, cornerback, safety, linebacker and defensive end. I am one of the faster players which has allowed us to use the read option.  I have attended several football camps including the University of Michigan and the Detroit Lions.  I have been the starting quarterback for the Royal Oak High School Freshman and Junior Varsity teams.  I also play baseball. I can play all 9 positions but primarily I am a pitcher, catcher and short stop. My third sport is basketball. I have played all 5 positions on the court. I believe it is important to play more than 1 sport as it can improve your athletic ability. I have been shooting for playing football at the next level to be able to continue my education.
