From the outset, I was undersized and constantly underestimated, but I embraced this as an opportunity rather than a limitation. I knew I had to work harder than everyone else to prove my worth, and this mindset became the foundation of my character.

Throughout my years on the field, I faced countless obstacles, but each one only fueled my determination to succeed.  The countless hours of extra practice, the mental preparation, and the sheer willpower to overcome my physical limitations all came together in a storybook ending with our team winning our first 6A District Championship.  It was a testament to the idea that size is just a number, and heart and determination are what truly matter.

As I prepare to leave high school, I carry with me the invaluable experiences and bonds forged through football. I am a better person, a better leader, and a better quarterback because of the challenges I've faced. I am ready for the next challenge, and I am excited to continue proving that heart and hard work can overcome any adversity.
