Personal Statement
My name is Juan Baxa. I go to Buffalo High School. I have been playing hockey since I was four years old. I have enjoyed the game of hockey since. I have enjoyed watching my brother play, and he was one of the people that showed me hockey along with my parents. It has been a dream since I was younger to one day play for a college team.
Getting the chance to play college hockey would fulfill a life long dream and be able to play at the next level. I have been able to watch family members and relatives play hockey, but never get to the college level; I would like to be the first one to play at the college level. In hockey I have, I have had a lot of good and bad experiences that has made a better player. There have been rough spots in my game;I have made a big jump and came back, and I learned to take the bad and turned it into good.
I enjoy doing other things besides hockey. I enjoy fishing with friends and family. I enjoy taking family trips to new places and building memories. While hockey is one of my main things I focus on, I make family the first priority.
