Lucas Burns '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Lucas Burns, and I will be graduating with the class of 2026. I have played varsity football for three years. In my sophomore and junior years, I was awarded 1st Team All-Conference and District status. In my sophomore year, I was All-State O-Line 3rd team, and in my junior year, I was All-State O-Line 1st team, along with All-State Academic. I am looking forward to playing my senior year for my local high school team, Lafayette County C-1. I am currently involved in FFA, Science Club, National Honor Society, and was a member of the Blue and Gold Choir. I also participate in basketball and track and field. In the summers, I work as a farmhand and lifeguard/swim instructor. I am part of a five-generation local farming family, where I have two younger brothers. I hope to continue playing football in college while earning an agricultural business degree.
