Alex Wojtowicz '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 6' 2" , 275 pounds and I run a 5.2 second forty yard dash. The most I can give to a team is anything the coach wants me to give. I always help teammates get better by giving them tips. I never give up becuase I know in the end it makes me better and will pay off  in the long run. I would like to go to any school that is going to give me the best education I can get. I'm using football as a tool to help me achieve my goals in life outside of football. I'm really looking into the field of Architectual Design and Engineering. I am very good in math and science. My goals for football are open. Of course I would love to play as a freshmen at a D1 school, but I want play no matter where I go. I want to get the best education and the best school to help me become an even better football player. I am also a Third Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. I have been training since I was 5 1/2 years old in Taekwondo at ATA Karate For Kids. I am a Junior instructor and have obtained my certifications to be a floor judge at competitions for ATA Karate for Kids. I was Second in the state of Nevada for sparring in the rank of Black Belt when I was 10 years old. I was also ranked in the top 10 in Nevada for weapons and forms. I was awarded the Student of the Year for 8th Grade Boy at Lied Middle School. The award is only voted on by the teachers and school administration. It is awarded to the student they felt most represented what a "perfect" student should be. It is not the best athelete or best grades, but best overall, well-rounded student.That was a huge accomplishment! I also play trombone, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass guitar. I was in Jazz band and advanced band for 4 years and then did guitar in 10th and 11th grade. Budget cuts at our high school ended the guitar program this year, but I still play at home and with my friends.
