Darius Smith '27 Recruiting Profile

Football is my first love I remember telling my parents as little child don’t buy me jeans cause they slow me down lol. I work hard on the field and off the field in the classroom because they go together. Varsity cornerback starter since sophomore year and take pride in my craft. I can also play safety if needed never been scared of contact. I love the phrase no touchdowns allowed and locking down the best receiver so the coach has to move them around away from me to even get them catches. I am humble but I want to play as a true freshman and I understand what comes with what I’m asking for. Man of few words but a man ready for action. Let’s chase Greatness together!!
