Samuel Pendleton '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sam Pendleton. I am excited to have the opportunity to share my collegiate goals and aspirations. I am interested in studying to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering.  My family owns and operates a feed company, and my goal is to become the third generation in this family of innovators. I have spent the majority of my free time working alongside both my grandfather and my father. It would be an honor to bring something new to the table that would furthur grow the business for the next generation. 

I believe that I would be a valuable asset to your program for many reasons.  I aspire to work very hard in the classroom and on the field.  Playing college football has always been a dream of mine. My parents have instilled the desire to work harder and to be dedicated. I know there will always be someone more gifted, faster, and stronger, and that drives me to work harder. 

I am different from many of the athletes whom I have come into contact with at this point in my life. I believe it is important to have a strong relationship with my teammates, cultivating loyalty, integrity, and honor among players I am surrounded by daily. Understanding the team goals, and working to achieve those goals as one family, are also very important to me.  I strive to remain humble, positive, and a person of integrity throughout all of my life experiences.
