Austin Mathews '11 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach, I am a 6'4 and 220lb senior at Northwood High School. I have been a varsity starter for three years and I am captain on the varsity football team. I am a hard working student athlete who plans to attend a four-year university and play football. I take my commitment to academics and to football very seriously. I work all year to prepare for the upcoming season. I would say that my best qualities on the football field are my leadership ability and my ability to adapt to and perform well at a variety of positions. I enjoy being able to play every position on the field because it helps my team. Although I am currently undecided regarding which major I would focus on at college, I am excited about investigating the majors of fisheries management, aquaculture or any other related majors. I am willing to consider attending any high quality institution that has a strong football program.
