Personal Statement

My name is Stoney Epling and I have been playing football since 3rd grade. I have always loved it. I am 6'4" and weigh 210 pounds. I play tight end and free safety. I have been a varsity player since my freshman year and throughout my high school career I have been named to many all county and all district teams. I was recently named first team All-Ohio and selected to participate in the North/South all-star game in April. I enjoy being a leader as a captain of the team. It is a role that I embrace.  Motivating my teammates to give their all and never quit is a great feeling.  Football means a lot to me and I would love to continue my football career in college!  I have also been playing varsity basketball since my freshman year and have been named twice to all county teams for basketball.
