Katy Gartrell '24 Recruiting Profile

HELLO! My name is Katy Gartrell and I am a 2024 RHP/ 3B/ Utility. I'm not one to talk about myself but here we go. I have always done well in academics and athletics. I played multiple sports growing up but as of last year, I decided to focus 100% on softball. You can count on me to keep things together even when team dynamics get tough. Every coach tells me I'm a joy to have on their team. I keep my composure on the mound and at the plate, not letting frustration rule my game. Beyond my character and softball ability, I have aspirations of becoming a physician's assistant. I have done well in honors classes all through my school career and am currently excelling in AP and college classes.
