Personal Statement
What got me to where I am today is when I was little I had to choose between the two sports I was playing. I chose soccer and I have been playing soccer ever since. Also I had the support of my parents who helped and supported me. I told my dad, when I was 10, that I wanted to play club soccer, play in college, and that when I grow up I wanted to play with the USWNT. After he heard that he told my mom and they both worked on finding a club for me. They found OSU (Ohio Strikers United) and I’ve been playing with them since then. My freshman year, our high school soccer team didn’t go as far as I wanted to go, so I decided to work harder and train harder than I did the year before and try new things. That way our team can hopefully make it farther in the season. I always have this mindset that I will improve every year to succeed.
My academic goal for high school is to maintain and graduate with a high GPA so that I can have better chances to get into the best school I possibly can. In college, I hope to stay focused on my classes so I can continue learning in my preferred field of study, veterinary science or sports medicine. I’ve learned that I am a passionate athlete for my sport and will do what it takes to succeed and reach my goals.
