Kane McNabb (Kick...Personal Statement
Hi. My name is Kane McNabb. I am a Senior in high school in Hillsboro Oregon. I am also a 4 Star Recruit verified by 247 Sports and Chris Sailer. Class of 2022. I had the honor of being asked, as a Freshman, to be the starting kicker for our Varsity team after the head coach noticed my kicking abilities (soccer background) and I haven't looked back!
I just finished my 3rd year of Varsity high school football and we made it to the playoffs. I am so proud to represent my Liberty team. #falconproud
I really want to continue to play football in college. I believe I have what it takes. I will continue to develop my kicking skills during the off season by attending camps and working one on one with private kicking coaches. I am getting better and stronger, adding about 15 yards to each kick, year after year.
In the next year I plan to really dive into the technical and psychological part of my kicking as I know that growth and consistency wins! And, of course, I will continue taking academics seriously. I currently have a 3.30 GPA and have a love for software and hardware engineering. My goal is to get an engineering degree in college.
I would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes and review my videos. I am open to feedback and comments. I am always looking to improve my game. I really hope you will continue to follow me on my kicking journey through high school. I hope you will be impressed with my progression.
