Deryk Farmer '26 Recruiting Profile

As a 3 sport athlete, I have learned a lot about myself through football, basketball, and track. Competing at a higher level since I was 8 years old, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level for as long as I can remember.  

In football, I played multiple positions as QB, WR, OLB, S.  Although we had individual positions, I learned to trust, work hard, and inspired my teammates to succeed as a team.   I was selected to the Oregon All-State game and earned the honor of being selected as the games defensive MVP. My most memorable moment was being back to back state football champions this year.

Unlike football, track was more of an individual sport where as a 14 year old (8th grade) my 100 yd was 11.9, 200 yd 24.03,  long jump 20.1, 40 yard 4.52 sec.

I am self motivated and work year round to improve my physical fitness and work on my skills while attending training camps and my parents drive me to trainers across the state  

I have been playing on a select AAU basketball team, the Northwest Drip from Seattle.  It was an honor to be selected  1st team and recognized in several tournaments.  I was invited back to the team based on my character and integrity this year.  

In the classroom and extra activities, just like my sports, I put 100% effort.  I have a 4.0 GPA, selected as a National scholar athlete, voted class Vice President, and recently honored to being selected the servant leader of my team by my coach.  

i enjoy to work hard and focus positively in my goals both individually and with my team and coaches.  Discipline and mental strength has been a strong characteristic and my coach ability makes me a strong teammate.  

It is my dream to play on a team at the collegiate level!
