As far back as I can remember I have loved the game of football. Before I was old enough to play with a team I played around the house almost everyday with my dad and mom. I was able to start playing with a real at 6 years old and I have never looked back. The game of football has made me a better person. It has helped develop my character by learning how to be a great teammate, having goals to pursue, overcoming adversity, working hard when no one is watching, and understanding that nothing is just given to you are some of things the life lessons the game has taught me.
The goals I have in football also help keep me grounded, and help me think through my actions because I know the consequences, good or bad, will affect the plan I have to keep playing the game I love.
I want to play at the next level because its always been a dream and I want to show the world my talent and what I can do by representing God and my family. To get closer to this goal I am doing things like training, lifting, doing personal work, and gettin my head right. Also keeping good grades in all my classes because I am a student athlete and school comes first because football is a privilege to be able to play.
