2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a leader and am willing to do whatever is necessary to benefit my team. I am a hard worker and lead by example. I push myself to be the best I can be and encourage my teammates to do the same. I recently was voted Co-Defensive Captain, Player with the most Heart, and MVP Linebacker by my teammates. I was also awarded honorable mention all-state linebacker by the Texas Sports Writers Association for the 2012 season. I was recently selected to the 2013 USA National Football U-18 team and will be competing against the best in the nation this summer.
I have played in multiple defensive schemes, and can play strong or weak linebacker. I also have played as a pass rushing defensive end. I am a quick learner and will work tirelessly to master whatever position you feel I can most effectively play to benefit your team.
I promise you will have a hard time finding an athlete that works harder than I do. I am very competitive not only in sports, but also in academics and life in general. I view college football as the ultimate competition and that is why I am very eager to play at the next level.
I am currently ranked 3rd in my class out of 292 students. I plan on majoring in Physics or Engineering.
