WHY
I fell in love with football at a young age
It built my confidence
Itś great to be a part of a team thatś fighting for the same goal
The football field is a safe-haven from all of the outside stresses of day to day life
I fell in love with the sport of football at a young age. I was never the fastest but my dad always told me that I was "a different type of athlete and to keep working hard". I saw how my hard work paid off when I started playing tackle football. As I noticed results of all of my hard work, it built my confidence and I was encouraged to keep working hard. Another reason I fell in love with the sport is because I got to be part of a team that relied on me and fought for the same goal. The football field also became a safe-haven from all of the outside stresses of day to day life and school.
How
Hard work has been a trait that has been stressed to me since I can remember. I’m willing to work as hard as I need to in order to be the best player that I can be. Great work ethic is a common theme that has been present in most successful people. I also take pride in being very coachable and having the ability to take instruction and incorporate it into my game immediately. I also try to make sure that as a young player, I show leadership. Whether it’s leading by example or verbally, I understand that it is very important to the success of a team. My parents have always stressed the importance of academics to a well rounded student athlete. I make sure that I am available to my teammates by working just as hard in the classroom and not losing sight of the importance of maintaining a solid GPA.
Goals
Dominate at the high school level and get noticed by colleges and universities
Earn district, state and national recognition
Help my team make the playoffs and have more success than in past years
Earn a full scholarship for football
Have collegiate success
My Dream is to one day play football at the collegiate and professional level.
My goals are to dominate at the high school level and get noticed by colleges and universities. That would earn me distinct, state and possibly national recognition. I also want to help my team make the playoffs and have more success than in past years. Earning a full scholarship for football would be an incredible achievement and a testament to hard work paying off. A long term goal is to have collegiate success as well. Like most players that take the game of football seriously, my dream is to have an opportunity to play football in the NFL one day.
