Jacob Janecek '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was six years old. Over the years, my love for the game has grown and developed with me. I have and continue to learn life lessons through football; my top three are Work Ethic, Leadership, and Consistency.  I am a competitor, and my desire to be the best at my position has taken many hours of practice and determination.  As a QB, I have learned to lead on and off the field.  I lead with a positive attitude, am prepared and dependable, and show belief in each of my teammates. This game, and my position, comes with many ups and downs.   Being consistent daily and not wavering from my goal to play College Football is what fuels me.  

Hard Work Works! 

I also believe serving others is part of being a leader/role model. I am a Young Men's Service League member, serving the community at various organizations in North Texas. I will have served between 80 and 100 hours by the time I am a senior. I also coach 1st and 2nd graders for a Lovejoy youth flag football league.              

I have been invited to join the Honor Society this year with a 3.9 GPA. My grades are important, and I have worked hard to balance academics, community service, and sports. I aim to play college football at whatever level I am fit to while earning a construction management degree.
