I have some interest in studying construction management when I get to college, and I believe I have what it takes to succeed in collegiate academics and sports because I've been brought up to believe that you have to work hard in order to play hard.
My 3.8 GPA and athletic talent on the field are evidence of my desire to succeed both on and off the field. I never settle for 'good enough'. There's always room for improvement which is what keeps me up late at night studying or getting in some extra practice/training after hours and during the weekend.
I've got a great circle of friends that I've grown up with and several of us have played many sports together over the years. When we're not busy with school/sports we like to play video games, go swimming, play football in the neighborhood, or see a movie together. My friends and I encourage and help each other because we realize what it takes to get to the next level.
My family and Christian faith are also very important to me. I live at home with my mom and dad and 2 younger brothers, and although our lives are busy with school and sporting events, we try to make time to attend church regularly.
