Santiago Gomez '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Santiago Gomez. I was born and raised in Plainview Texas, and am currently attending Plainview High school. I have played football for the last six years, three in middle school, and three in high school. I have played starting D-end for my high school for the last three years.  I also have been in my high school's powerlifting program for soon to be three years. I have done track and field for Plainview High school for the past two years as well. While I am not as strong as a student as I am as an athlete, I am working to further strengthen my academic skills. I'm looking for a program that will work with me and strengthen me academically.  I'm also looking for a school that will push me to succeed as a student and an athlete. I strive to be a better leader and to help encourage those around me as well as to stay positive.  I believe I would be an exceptional candidate because I'm headstrong, heavily motivated, and willing to put in the time and effort to better myself as a student and an athlete.
