I am a devoted student athlete that takes the academic responsibilities as serious as I do my athletic responsibilities. This is demonstrated by me being a member of the National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society. I have lettered in football my freshman, sophomore and junior years. I strive on a daily basis to ensure that I am working hard to perform at an elite level in the classroom and on the athletic field. In addition, I live by the philosophy that true athletes are made when the stands are empty and that is when the real work is done. I work hard every day on my conditioning to include speed, agility, and strength. I work out multiple times a week with a professional strength coach and foot work specialist. These outstanding coaches work with me to improve my overall conditioning and effectiveness as an athlete. I also utilize the expertise of a professional quarterback coach, Reggie McNeil, to improve my passing and reading of defenses. I desperately want and desire to play at the collegiate level and I am continually striving to prepare my mind and body to compete at that next level.
I am also active in the community, where I participate in numerous hours of community service at a variety of nonprofit organizations. I am also active in my church, Champions Cowboy Church, where I attend every Sunday with my grandparents and mother due to both of my father working on Sunday's. I also assist every summer with Vacation Bible School which is held at Fairbanks United Methodist Church. In addition, I am active in many different community service opportunities to include, Houston’s Children’s Festival and the Tomball Food Bank.
I fully understand that if I am given the opportunity by a coach to represent a college, that the coach is putting their faith in me that I will do the right things both on and off the field. I have been raised by my parents to have faith, honor and dignity in everything that I do. I will not do anything to dishonor myself, my family or the school and coaches that I represent.
My name is Trevor Manning., Rosehill Christian School class of 2021. Thank you for the time and attention you have given to my profile.
