Donte Clayborne '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Donte Clayborne, I am an upcoming senior at Salem High School in Salem, VA. I have been dedicated to this game for 11-12 years playing for the City of Salem from elementary school and currently a 160lb Running Back on the Salem Spartan varsity football team. I am hardworking, loyal and one of the most balanced RBs you will ever scout. I am powerful, quick, I will bounce off 90% of tacklers when running the football and I challenge the defense every day in practice. I am young, intelligent, talented and passionate about football. My greatest accomplishment thus far was being the starting RB in the 2014 division 4A State Championship and although we came in second place it was a great experience. We are working hard as a team in practice and confident that we will claim the title this year. I always have a winning attitude, display good sportsmanship and I like to let the plays on the field do the talking. Im excited about the opportunities and very certain that I can be a valuable participant in your program in the future.
