When I was about 5 my neighbors and I use to do flag football for a little league, and the son and I were really close so his dad told my Mom to put me in tackle football and from there I’ve just loved the game and the way it’s played. The biggest question I get asked as a rising freshman is “what motivates you to keep going and going when you feel like you can’t go anymore” and I say my mom because I see the struggle she goes through everyday just to provide for our family and I want to give her a brake as I keep providing for myself and the family. After all these years of league football I’ve learned a valuable lesson and that is to not overthink on what to do and just let my game take over.
I already know how important this is because it’s very important to me and my family it is my academic goals for high school and college. They are set very high as they should be but I think if I actually just focus on me and just myself this year I could very well get a 3.9/4.0 which is my goal this coming school year. Just like any other athlete I have had to overcome obstacles like when I was 10 I bumped heads with the one of the other teams teammates and I was out for a bit but, it didn’t stop me from getting back out there and earning my starting positions right back. I’d say I am a unique player because I don’t just focus on 1 or 2 positions on offense/defense I focus on like 3 or 4 I like to be that one guy u can just put anywhere and he will do as you say no questions asked also, I know how to be a leader and boost my teammates confidence when we are down and need a little push or kick just to get us all to perform to their max potential to hopefully win the game.
