Carson Miller '24 Recruiting Profile

I’m very interested in engineering, specifically automotive engineering. I’d also like to study business. I would love to play college level football and compete in track and field as a thrower. 

I love competing. I’m inspired by my older brother (half brother, Jeffrey Mathews) who played QB at Cornell and was a 4 year starter. He holds 42 Cornell and Ivy League records and turned pro in 2014. 

People tell me you can’t teach size, and I have size. I want to compete for a starting position, but have grown to learn how important it is to be a team contributor/scout team member and special teams player. 

I understand I need to keep my head up, have a straight mindset, help others not to doubt themselves, listen to the coaches and continue to learn. I’m always striving to get both athletically and academically better.
