Hello coaches, my name is Miles Smiley and I played quarterback at Black Hills High School in Washington State this past season. I played this season following recovery from a significant knee injury. I ruptured my ACL, lateral miniscus, strained my PCL and fractured my femur in a pre-season game at the start of my junior year of football (2011). This year was my first year at Black Hills High School moving here from Germany where I played at a Department of Defense School, Vilseck High School. Prior to that, I played at Lake Braddock High School in Northern Virginia as a Freshman where I was pulled up to varsity for our state run where we played in the state championship. My dream has always been to play college football and my near term goal is to pursue that dream. I have been accepted into Central Washington University and if I attend CWU, I plan on playing as a walk on. I am open to other schools and other opportunities out there that are within reach and are a good fit for me. Beyond football, I intend to focus on Broadcast Journalism and Sports Management and aspire to work in those fields in the future.
