Burak Bowers '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey, my name is Burak Bowers. I’m a class of 2024 offensive and defensive lineman at Sumner high school in Sumner Washington. I’m a dedicated member of my team and I’m always willing to work hard and not give up when a challenge is put in front of me.

I have been a fan of football since my childhood days. No matter where I was at or what I was doing I always loved watching and playing football. Football has always been played throughout my family. My dad played football, my grandpa played football and so many more people in my family did. So, when I wanted to start playing football in third grade they were very excited and I haven’t stopped playing since then. And I want to not only continue my football career in college but also work towards a degree in either aerospace machining or sports medicine.

                I currently obtain a 3.4 GPA and I’m working on improving this to a 3.5 GPA. I believe that if you do a sport, you are a student athlete, you should always be working on improving your grade. Because your first job as an athlete is to get good grades then compete in your sport to your highest ability. That’s why I take time out of my day to double check what I must get done and when it needs to be done by.
