Personal Statement
At the age of 3 I played my first game in Federal Way, WA and quickly fell in love with soccer. My love for soccer turned into a passion and then turned into a dream. Every day I work hard to one day play at the collegiate level and anywhere beyond that.
Growing up I was always told that you need to work for what you want to achieve in life. I spend many hours a week at the soccer field working on my footwork, my strength (both mentally and physically), my speed and endurance, and anything else that will help improve my game. I am committed, dedicated, and determined to not only be the best version of myself, but to also be the best teammate for my team. I have great leadership on and off the field. I put time and energy into my teammates, coaches, and the staff that help support the team. I have incredible vision of the field and can anticipate what is coming next.
I study hard at school and maintain a 3.95 GPA. I am in honors and advanced classes. I have a strong work-ethic in the classroom, on the field and in my day-to-day life.
Pushing myself excites me and I would like to attend a college that pushes me in the classroom and on the soccer field. I adapt well to changes and would like to find the right college, where I will have the opportunity to grow, make memories and compete at the highest level.
I am excited to see what the future holds for me and see how my time at college will help shape me into a better person who can give back to the world.
Thank you for taking the time to consider me.
