The first year I decided to take football seriously was when I was 12 years old. In the past, football was only fun and games to me. However, that all changed when I watched a single Packers game, where my view of the game changed forever. From that moment I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level.
I am always trying to improve my skills physically and mentally on and off the field. I am a hardworking, determined athlete. I am always there for my teammates, when one falls down I always offer my hand. My motivation allows me to be a very instructable and responsive individual.
I have an interesting story. In 4th grade, I played tackle football for one season and when that season ended, I quit. I couldn’t run like all the other people and I thought I would never be able to catch up to my teammates' skill levels. However, when I watched that Packers game it made me realize I wanted to play football. I started to better myself by lifting weights, running, and eating healthier. It was really hard, but I never gave up. I played that next season of football and I shocked everyone. I want to play at the collegiate level and possibly higher to become known so then I can let children know that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and not to let the people around you bring you down.
In my athletic history, I have never missed practice or a game once. I also have gone to every single team workout outside of the season to become better. I always try to work harder than the person next to me no matter where I am. I always give 110%. I Have also gained a lot of chemistry with all my teammates and coaches. These are relationships I will cherish for the rest of my life.
In school, I started high school math in 7th grade. This is one of my biggest academic accomplishments. It gives me the opportunity to take college course classes in high school. With that said, I do plan to major in the trades. Along with football, I always give it my all to do well in school. My hope is that with all my efforts and hard work, I will be able to achieve my dreams.
