Personal Statement
I have been influenced by a lot of things in life, but my mom and dad have influenced my life tremendously. They have given me every opportunity to be successful in academics and athletics. My mom has always taught me to be responsible and respectful. My parents exposed me to sports at a young age. I was never forced to participate in any sports, but with the exposure my interest grew and I played every sport I possibly could. Sports are my passion and I strive everyday to be the best that I can possibly be both athletically and academically. I enjoy challenging myself and improving. Through sports I have learned to set goals, to be a supportive teammate, work with others, and to be disciplined on time management. Academically I strive to get all A's and maintain a high GPA so I can get into a college of my choice. I believe my GPA shows how dedicated I am to my school work. My goals in college are to get a degree in my study of choice and to become involved in collegiate athletics. I also want to enjoy campus life to help me prepare for the real world and balance all my daily activities. I possess a very good work ethic. Besides maintaining a high GPA and being a three sport athlete I have worked two jobs as well. I do whatever is necessary to get to my goals. I am a leader to all of my teammates, I have the ability to take coaching, and have a very high sports IQ. I am very loyal, honest, and kind person. As a three sport athlete and a student I have great time management skills, too.
