Magnus Perrett '22 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is to make it to college/university and get some kind of degree unless I can take basketball further than college or university I would be willing not too.

I would bring tons of energy to your team because I would be the player who helps the team when they’re feeling down and or not keeping the energy throughout the game. 

 I would add tons of school spirit to the school and do my best to motivate my teammates to work their hardest and become their best player, as well as I will be fully committed to my studies and working on my skills and improving my game. I really want to do well at the next level, as well as my parents have supported me so much I want to make them proud. 

  Myself as a player is more of a defensive shot blocker who clogs the paint and doesn’t let anyone get easy shots, I am definitely more of a roll player i would say. My biggest weaknesses I would say is I’m not aggressive enough on the offensive end as well as well as I am quite light for my height and sometimes mess up my positioning on the floor. I would say my strongest aspects of my game are my defence, I love playing close to my check and making them get frustrated and take rushed shots or make mistakes myself and my team can take advantage of. 

  My energy is also always high if I’m not hustling up and down the court then I am cheering my loudest on the bench trying to hype my teammates up. Another great aspect to my game is my vision, I think I am good at getting the ball to the right guy at the right time as well as I am able to set my teammates up for good open shots or help set up a play.

  It would be a pleasure to work my hardest and put my blood, sweat, and tears into making your schools program the best it can be.
