Jack Bannon '24 Recruiting Profile

Since the age of 13 when I began playing basketball, I have had a passion for this game like no other sport and I am determined to play collegiately.  If you chose me to be part of your program, I will bring my mental toughness and go from your hardest-working recruit to your hardest-working player.  I am a starting forward on my Adolfo Camarillo High School basketball team and I work on my skills year-round with my trainer, Matt Mazarei.  I also play on OGP Kings 17U AAU Live Team.  I am self-motivated and have a high basketball IQ. As evidenced by every coach I've played for.  The words that have been used to describe me are competitive, coachable, leader, respectful, and respected to name a few.  I apply these same attributes to my daily life and academics. 

I am a hard worker in the classroom and I maintain a high GPA.  I have received awards such as 1st Place in Mesa Moonbase Engineering Competition.

I take pride in my volunteer work which includes working with my special needs peers in the Unified Sports program.  I lead a team of students that have a business mindset for the DECA Club that I am the treasurer of.  I love sharing what I've learned through helping at youth basketball camps and training sessions.

I want to attend a college where I can continue developing my education in business and entrepreneurship.  Meanwhile, living my dream of excelling on the basketball court and helping the program go to the next level.
