My name is Sai Ramadas and I am a 6'4" forward at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, California. My goal is to play basketball at an elite academic college where I can get a world-class education in biomedical engineering and/or molecular biology while fulfilling my aspirations of playing college basketball. I am open to playing and learning anywhere that can help me complete this goal. In the classroom, I am an outstanding student, with a 3.97 GPA and 1570 SAT score.
On the basketball court, I have tremendously improved since first taking the game seriously in 8th grade. In the last three years, my strong work ethic and perseverance have allowed me to rise up the levels while continuously improving and expanding my skill, basketball IQ, and offensive arsenal. In addition, I have become a versatile and competitive defender who can switch and guard multiple positions. Throughout my time at Dougherty Valley, I have regularly guarded players 3 to 4 inches taller than me, competing for rebounds and loose balls. I believe that I will be able to continue improving at a rapid rate over the next few years at college. In addition to my contributions on the court, I am a leader off the court. Through my years as a tutor and taekwondo instructor, I have developed a great sense of leadership and responsibility. I help set the tone for our team through my hard work, each and every day.
Ideally, I would like to find a college with an opportunity for me to prove myself and earn my stripes. I will explore and consider all options that will help me reach my goals.
