Jorden Rucker '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello all,

My name is Jorden Rucker and I am a 6'6 SG/SF Junior in High School.  Currently, I play PF as a starter for our varsity team Bloomfield Warhawks.  Due to being the only 6'6 player on a roaster full of guards, I understand my role on both sides of the court.  I average at least 5 blocks/game and 12 rebounds/game both offensively and defensively.  This works well with providing at least 15points/game averaging 44% from the field and 66% from the three.  I just want to be as successful as I can be both academically and athletically.  I would love to play basketball for your college.  I am coachable.  I thrive on teams that are committed to success and is willing to get the best out of me as I work to get the best out of myself. My father alway said "if they work hard, you work harder!" and he has been saying that since he put a basketball in my hands at 5 years old.  I always thought he meant out work your competition but recently he said it means that no matter what I decide to do in my lifetime always put your all in that "thing". That thing can be basketball, academics, a career, etc., you never want to live with the "could've, would've or should've."  So, what makes me different from other recruits...I lived my whole life not leaving anything up to chance.
