I am a senior on the National Varsity roster at Montverde Academy, Florida.
My name is Bayley Crawford and l’m a 2022 graduating student athlete with senior year GPA of 4+.
I’m described as an athletic 6’5 (no shoes) Combo Guard that loves to shoot the ball and create for my teammates.
Originally from a town named Noosa, which is in Queensland, Australia - 2 hours north of Brisbane,
Back home, I am an All-State HS player and one of a select few HS students playing NBL1 (National Basketball Semi Professional League) which is the tier under the NBL where LaMelo Ball played in Australia.
I am an elite shooter that can score all three levels and facilitate both team offence and defence. I‘m very comfortable with running plays and organising the team. I love everything pick and roll, creating off the dribble and playing full court high pressure defence.
I am very team orientated and self motivated. I lead every session at Montverde practice with my positive energy and willingness to learn from the professional coaches and elite roster of players. I am very adaptable and resilient to travel. My elite running ability is very suited to playing multiple games, full court pressure and big tournament schedules, especially OT situations. I can be regularly found running 400m repeats at the track and doing stair repeats at my local beach back home.
My mentor, Coach Shawn Sykes, who runs Step by Step Basketball program in Brisbane, Australia played at USF and introduced me to AAU where l fell in love with the fast paced style of USA basketball. I have played three summers of AAU in L.A. and Las Vegas both in the West Coast Elite and Bigfoot tournaments both resulting in silver medals.
I love the American way of life and as a student athlete are eager to represent a college that has a great team mindset.
Bayley Crawford.
