Personal Statement

First and foremost, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for this opportunity; and let all the coaches know that you have a young man with great principles and standards that is based on God (Jesus Christ) - Faith, Family, Academics, and Athletics.

As a Junior (and early Graduate of the May 2026 - Senior Class Academically), after seeking God and my family on the direction of my life, I have chosen to transfer to Lake Mary HS for my academic and track journey. I will be in dual enrollment classes for college, as I only have 1 required course to take to graduate, which is English, and I will be taking a few college courses and receiving a certification for it from an Engineering perspective in Robotics. Also, I will be taking my SAT and ACT tests by the Fall, so I can apply for the colleges on my list.

As a Sophomore, I focused more as a sprinter and jumper in track, and it has been a blessing with the hard work and dedication. I have been able to train with the best coaches in Seminole County, Central Florida and in the state of Florida with Coach Fred Finke (Hall of Fame Coach and Olympian Board Member), Coach Brad Harris (Jumping Coach), and Coach Travo Woods (Sprinters Coach). With their guidance, I have been able to set personal best records at the Triple Jump, Long Jump, and 100m and greater things will be coming next year. At our Track Banquet, I was able to receive my Letter and pennant for Track, along with the MVP Most Improved Boys Track Member and I finished the season Number #1 on the Team in the Triple Jump and Long Jump. Also, I have been able to push myself in the classroom with taking 7 courses at Lyman HS and 8 courses online through Florida Virtual School to be classified as a Senior in the classroom with only 1 course to complete in the 2025-2026 School Year and graduate a year early (Now, I will be graduating in the Class of 2026 instead of the Class of 2027). Also, I have received and accepted a 2025 Scholar Invite and became a Member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS); and I have received a 2025 Scholar Invite to the National Youth Leadership Forum for Engineering at George Mason University for this summer (2025). The best is yet to come, as I am preparing for my SAT and ACT in the Fall of the 2025-2026 School Year. Lastly, I will be ready to apply for the colleges of my choice - FSU/FAMU, UCF, Harvard, USF, Miami, N. Florida, and UF (and others).

As a freshman basketball athlete, I brought a relentless drive and passion for the game that sets me apart. From countless hours of practice to unwavering dedication, I am committed to pushing myself to new heights both on and off the court. My competitive spirit fuels me to constantly strive for improvement and to never settle for anything less than my best.

I take passion for being a team player, always willing to sacrifice personal glory for the success of the team. Whether it's diving for loose balls, setting screens, or making the extra pass, I understand the importance of doing whatever it takes to help my team succeed. I thrive in high-pressure situations, embracing the opportunity to lead by example and inspiring my teammates to elevate their performance.

Off the court, I am equally dedicated to excelling academically and being a positive role model in the community. I understand the importance of time management and prioritizing my responsibilities to ensure success in all aspects of my life. I am committed to representing my school and team with integrity, both on and off the court.

What sets me apart from other athletes is my relentless work ethic, unwavering determination, and unshakeable belief in my ability to succeed. I am confident that I have the skills, mindset, and character to not only excel as a basketball player but also to thrive as a student-athlete at your institution. I am eager for the opportunity to contribute to the success of your program and to make a positive impact both on and off the court.
