My name is Gavin Fox and I have played at WSA for 2 years without making the state tournament. Through these challenges, I have been driven to persevere and become a leader for my team. Although I have been a top scorer in the state for the past 2 years, I have not received all-state honors due to my team's inability to make state playoffs. However, with my senior year approaching, and my middle school coach being moved to the varsity position, I plan to lead my team into state playoffs and strengthen the program at WSA. Because I have been able to lead the varsity team since my sophomore year, I know that I will be a promising candidate as I know what it takes to win and the work required to do so. I have also been able to retain my place as top-5 in my class at a College Prep School; as well as being a captain of Westminster's back-to-back state champions soccer team, winning all-state and all-region honors in soccer.
