Darius Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

I feel that I have had to earn everything  on the Basketball court. I’ve been overlooked by some coaches, and benched many games, which has motivated me to work even harder to prove who I am and what I can do.   My story has only made me stronger. Throughout my struggle, I’ve never given up.  I’ve always stayed with it. It has paid off tremendously. I kept working until I gained the respect and admiration of my peers, teachers, and coaches.  I feel that I would be a good fit in college because I understand the struggle and process.  I know that nothing will be given to me, and I must earn it because nothing good comes easy in life.
